Thoughts from Center Stage

As all arts fans have seen in recent months, the definition of “the stage” is changing. The stage may hold fewer performers at once. It may have no audience in-house. The stage may be outside. The delivery method may be the Internet, a recording or a Zoom chat instead of a lecture in a hall or museum.

As we brainstorm and see what is possible in a fall “season” that has no large live events or gatherings and a spring season with safety precautions, seating spacing and abbreviated programs – things may look different.

But we think you will find that the arts are worth it, whatever we have to do to still enjoy and share them. Stay connected with us – through our social media and the website – and we will walk through this time together, with precautions tailored to your safety and security and governmental guidelines.
